I agree also, and was not going to do the poster but ended doing it becuase the promoter wanted me to(pressure from the man!!). When you think about it, the imagery on "most" rock posters has nothing to do with the band. The purpose of a poster is to make a person look at it(the poster)! then they will read it!

Well, the illustration is real nice. The rippling of the water is sweet. Great looking effect. The problem is, it just doesn't seem to fit with the bands. At least my image of them anyway. I'm sorry, but I'm used to seeing Frazetta or Bisley kinda paintings of gnarled warriors carrying bloody axes when I think of High on Fire. Or some kinda drug reference referring to the use of drugs to attain some sort of spirituality. Things associated with a bygone era and culture. But that's my interpretation of the band. This is very well done though.
