"Anybody ever see the Cartoon Network Super Friends spoof, Justic Friends? The Thor knockoff's name is Val Hallen, flying v guitar instead of a hammer. freaking funny."
Yes, funny stuff indeed. I would almost say it's a shame they didn't do more with that idea but really Powerpuff girls is the same kind of idea and it's with original characters not spoofs. I think spoofs would have gotten old pretty quick as a series.

damn nice execution on this concept. And the concept of making a poster from a Marvel comics cover is a tall order but it's well done here. Well done indeed. Bravo. Rolly cheers.
High marks from me. I wish the guitar was worked a little more (like at least using the f'd black from some of the dark areas of the cover). Great job on the type (especially "Friday", totally looks like shit I see penciled in on old comics in the bins).
I happen to live with the very talented Bootsy Rizzak, and yes, actual work and time went into this one. Put the origianl up to it and you will see. Deleting text, extra lettering, creases, a guitar, the date. And it looks even better on paper. Its beautiful.
I think unlike other posters that use comic book covers, some actual work went into this one. I like it. How the date was handled works for me too. It reminds me of kids who used to write their names on comics for the sake of ownership.
