i still stand by what i said real hand cut letters looks way better than simulated all u need to do is look at the "e''s and the poster seems a bit off. other than that it's great but hand text would levetate it too kick ass.

actually I edited a ton of the text by hand by making the text paths in illustrator.
Saul would have been all over illustrator had he had the chance to use it. Look at his logos...very vector style...AT&T logo, etc.

Man I fuckin love this poster! It has a crude creepiness. immediate anger solution, the silence after the storm of emotion, like a doodle in the margin of a suicide letter addressed to the one who was the sole instigator of the hasty self execution. Eyes bulging, mouth agape in a frozen expression of last minute regret and struggle for the life so irrationaly thrown away. The stretched neck festering with the claw marks of hindsite while limp arms hold clenched hands in rigors last cruel mocking.

We have a really awesome resource here called Powell Offset. Mr. Powell cuts all our stuff for us with great precision and we decided to cut this to bleed so it was designed that way. White border didn't seem to fit. The size of this really does make it . Glad you liked it Mike and Nolen. Wish I could get to Baltimore to see yr show...

yeah, i got this in the mail a few days ago and in real life it's sooo much cooler...it's pretty damned big too which enhances it...if it had been smaller it woulda been alright, but at how large it is...it's just awesome.

Great way of implying Slayer without resorting to tired and true metal imagery. Reminds me of Duke Ellington's Autonomy of a Murder album art. Red, Black & white you can never go wrong with and the type itself deserves ridiculous amounts of praise in itself. The shadow element doesn't kick in right away and, when it does, it goes to confirm all thoughts that this poster is nothing short of genius. Too bad the band's own graphic esthetic isn't this good. Now that would be satanic.

This poster is so awesome! I must have one! It's so not what I would have done for a Slayer poster, but thats exactly what I like about it. Has the smallest hint of Kleinsmith in it to me.
Slayer is the greatest band in the history of recorded music.
