seripopSend seripop a message :   man i wish i could tell what doesn't work in my stuff. something will just look wrong and i can't fix it so it ends up getting shreded to bits. or it will look wrong but yannick will insist it looks good, use it and i'll hate it . anyways i still think this poster is really nice. it took alot of looking before i noticed . it's kinda dan clowesish in a way - pretty girl with defect. ya know?   2002-09-08 23:09:25
EwingSend Ewing a message :   No shit! I was thinking the same thing about the teeth.
That's the funny thing about our own posters...we know what didn't work. What's the point in telling people and being too self-critical. Lesson learned. Gotta move on. I like the idea of the amputee....hmmm

seripopSend seripop a message :   alot about this is really great but the teeth and square face keeps me from loving it 100%.   2002-09-08 13:20:27
RichieGoodtimesSend RichieGoodtimes a message :   You know what would've been ultra cool? If this chick had her right arm amputated so that we could see hert tits.   2002-09-08 13:08:34
El Negro Magnifico!Send El Negro Magnifico! a message :   I can't see enough scantilly clad or naked women in posters, and this one is mad classy, dude. I gotta work on my anatomy!   2002-09-07 00:59:11
EwingSend Ewing a message :   I could care less...
I know what's offensive and what's titilating.
the people that have negative things to say about me never say it to my face.
Blake was a cat I was taking a screen printing class with and he was trying to get in on my gig for the show. He was partly kidding. The part about it being text heavy on the bottom is valid.
I just hate it when people forget to put some thought behind any negative posts. Like...try to sound intelligent fer chrissakes. Say something constructive!
There are a few kids here that don't deserve any respect if they throw empty opinions into the fan.
Besides, I like it when people talk shit, it gives me a chance to explain why I did what I did.

DeckerSend Decker a message :   Brian, you should never ever have to explain the use of T&A. It's a given, a god given right as a man and as an American to draw and enjoy T&A. Fuck that fat bitch Oprah and her demasculation adgenda. Fuck her! Huzah for Tities and pillowy ass cheeks, ruby lips and finger tips!   2002-09-06 17:38:29
MURPHYSend MURPHY a message :   Ha Ha Ha Ha She's actually saying... "Yea I went down to Old STar last weekend. I doubt any of those geeks are well hung."   2002-09-06 15:57:21

JoltedJoelSend JoltedJoel a message :   sheesh, i don't even look for reasons to draw naked women. I just do it. This is a great illustration Brian, among your best. And I'm sorry, but women are universally appreciated despite their clothing style. Any "punk" kid who says he wouldn't make out with a "preppie" girl is lying his face off. You can interject any little sub-cultures or genres you want into that little equation and you will never get a guy saying "no" to a lip wrestling match. So as far as this appealing to their fans, if they have a heartbeat they will like it. so there!   2002-04-06 19:12:42
blake67Send blake67 a message :   Keep your short's on, I was only JOKING (somewhat)! :-p Poster Mistress is right, no need to explain... See you next week in class.   2002-04-01 10:51:42
JGexSend JGex a message :   Hey Brian, ya think Mucha ever had to explain why he used pretty girls in his ads?

EwingSend Ewing a message :   Were you expecting a muscle car?
I drew the nekkid lady because: 1. selfish indulgence 2. Someone else was doing a poster for them and were gonna use a skull. 3. For the past few weeks there have been a ton of Happy Days rejects (like myself) hanging around LA because of the Rockabilly event that was going down in Vegas. I wanted to get their attention. 4. I didn't want to re-invent the wheel..I just wanted to NOT do the, guitars, and upside down stars.
I went to the show last night and there were women like this in the audience...clothed. Maybe they saw the poster.
See you in class next week. There aren't any this week due to Spring Break.

blake67Send blake67 a message :   Nice illustration, but what relevance does it have to the band, They're a hardcore rock and roll band, not rockabilly. The type is a little bottom heavy ;-)   2002-03-29 14:34:19
Steve HSend Steve H a message :   Yea what were u worried about brian?its a great piece (nudge nudge ;-) )   2002-03-28 18:27:07
Mr FrumpySend Mr Frumpy a message :   Ewing this is a fantastic poster....why expect a lynching....nice phone!!!   2002-03-28 17:36:10
EwingSend Ewing a message :   I was expecting a lynching for this one... Those are some big teeth.   2002-03-28 17:05:12
5RockSend 5Rock a message :   Yes, there's a naked woman... she has the Bettie Page look... yes, I would usually hate this, but there's something endearing about this illustration... there's an intimacy and depth usually lacking from the genre. Like it. Wish there were more of these.   2002-03-27 16:23:23
