I suppose you are right, and that is the way I heard it. Just seems like he might have made some effort to joint the circus, but then again maybe its flogging a dead horse.
He was like 80% of the DK's. The other 20% being half EB Ray and Winston Smith (that first LP packaging with the 2 sided lyric poster was sooooo impacting).

He was talking to me and Kurt from Recycled at SxSW last year (2001) and was just breathing pissy anger about those dudes. The way he laid it out, he totally got screwed. He said they wanted to sell the rights to use CAMBODIA... in some Levis commercial or something...and he thought it was just a shame...

I side with jello on this debate.
he kept the image and records alive and in print for years and WAS paying them the royalties originally agreed on.

sha! like he IS the bomb! ha! actually, i thought a big green bomb had a few good connections. the new record "the big ka-boom." the green party for which he ran for office. and it's juxposition to his beliefs in the military (hence the little flower). my client really wanted me to use his image, so it's in there.
