yes Bill always hung it prominently in his SF offices. I think he liked Byrd personally, and certainly credited him for all the Fillmore East artworks (which weren't comparable to anything from the West Coast btw). BG himself was not the best judge of poster artworks. He liked things easily read (natch, he was the promoter) and of course all the best psychedelic artwork was stuff you COULDN'T easily read.
David Byrd did much of the artwork for Bill Graham's Fillmore East.
This is one of the occasions on which I agree w. Chantry. The poster is just NOT the Dead.
Kinda the antithesis of "the weirder the better."
