Insane, Dude! The smoke and light effects going over the spaceship are certainly the parts that's gave you the most trouble.
I'd love to see this replacing the ship at the end of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

They are doing Kozik, Tara, Cerio, Johnny Ace, etc., in the next year.
They take a long time (they have tons of projects they are working on) but eventually you get through. I can give you a contact there. better off going there in person and showing them stuff.		   2005-12-29 13:25:03

EMEKSend EMEK a message :   the light beams are much more subtle in person.. it was really tricky to get all the dots at just the right size so the ink would screen and not get clogged...
my wife and kid do not scream, not yet at least, i am very blessed to have such a great family.. but i do very much like your mental picture.. perhaps i should take up smoking and get my old record player back up and running.. i do love antique victrolas and such gizmos.. 		  2005-12-29 13:12:31
piemelSend piemel a message :   the ONLY thing that kinda bugs me about this poster is the blue and the light beams.... I wish I could see the poster rather than the jpeg because its hard to judge something from a screen.
The freaking detail on the spaceship looks amazing
everytime i see one of 'those' genius emek posters i imagine him just doodling away in some superb trance in the back corner of the room completely oblvious to the outside world (inluding screaming kid and wife) and not having had a bite to eat for 14 hours
too bad he dont smoke... the mental picture would be better if he were surrounded in a cloud of smoke while the record he put on the player about 4 hours ago is skipping but emek cant hear it... he is in the zone
