"what you got to realize about texas in the era 1980-1995 or so was that it was a fucking paradise of lotsa shows, lotsa girls, lotsa cheap rent, lotsa booze and dope and hot summer nights."
Sounds good to me...
THANKS MAN FOR THE PACKAGE~!!! Arrived safe n well. You put in a morrissey poster ( as much as I dislike him, its a great poster...better in person, which I am glad to say I wouldnt know bout morrissey)... sadly it will go on my wall only cause of jack...hahahaha. You put in Sooo many fucking posters. Death Cab and the fugazi look awesome in person! The international noise looks soo cool too...and man, the strokes poster was excellent too. I started at this site just as that whole topic thread which inspired it was in full swing... seems so apt that the day after I admit my addiction to this site to Annacas, I get that poster.
Man, this is soo cool!!!
Many Thanks dude.
what you got to realize about texas in the era 1980-1995 or so was that it was a fucking paradise of lotsa shows, lotsa girls, lotsa cheap rent, lotsa booze and dope and hot summer nights. All of which are pretty 'inspiring'....
Kozik, Uncle Charlie, Jermaine Rogers, Kuhn...all the Texas artists rock the scene. There is really no comparison in my eyes. So much creative talent in one part of the country. Each of the 4 kind of address different parts of my mind.
I think that Jermaine has pretty much proven he's a highly talented
poster designer with a range of styles. This one definately looks like the
"texas' era, but it's well done, vibrant, clear in its info and eye-catching. All that REALLY matters is that Jermaine and hopefully the band or promoter liked it and found it useful.
I think CONCEPT and ARTWORK are equally important, otherwise you got a great piece of art that means nothing. Or a really good idea executed badly. Thats why this one is so cool, because the image is really good but the idea about Christ being a victim of cop brutality of his day, thats just sweet and so dead on. I likes.
