Right on about the color scheme here. It works great!!!!
Jimbo's just uncomfortable being around girls that can hold him down and give him indian burns.
Really like the color scheme here. Only complaint is that I'm not into muscle chicks or dudes, so I wish she was more feminine and you could see further down her shirt.
The Fakes don't have any recordings that you can purchase as yet since they are unsigned at this point, but you can download all of thier songs off of thier website. www.thefakesrock.com They are going back into the studio in June to record a new EP
with the same Producer that got Queens of the Stone Age signed and he's going to shop it for them. Too cool.
Justin Hampton,
The Fakes, Minister of Propaganda
It must be my "Catholic Guilt" kicking in... cuz my previous post makes me come off as a retard. The poster does suck... cuz I can't find anything wrong with it...
okay... enough of the butt kissing
justin, this is wonderful! the beauty of alot of his stuff is he will take a basic colour and do about 100 things with different shades of it! really smooth...
*Ewing* Thanks man! As to the skull in the 8-ball, that's the bands logo that I designed for them. I thought it was kind of a cool way to incorporate it into the image, but art is an objective thing daddy-o! Thanks for the props.
yeah Jolted, the "is my butt really THAT big?" curbed me from using significant others as models...........
This is another amazing poster by Hampton....my fave is still the built to spill, though
THIS SUCKS!!!!
I'm trying to find something that I don't like about this one. Hmm...
I guess the skull on the 8-ball is a bit distracting. But the colors are so pleasing... like buttah!!
Hey! Another guy who frequently uses his girlfriend as a model. I bet more of us use our significant other more than we let on. I wouldn't blame anyone for keeping it a secret, those "Is that what I really look like?" comments are enough to keep anyone gun shy!
*Trucker* Thanks alot, this was a fun one. I had my fiance' pose for this and she's really happy to be immortalized on yet another poster. She's on the Strokes one too. *5Rock* The Comet is the same ole' hang out it always was and probably always will be, except they're having awesome rock shows on the weekends these days.
This poster will be for sale at The Fakes, Seattle show, March 9th, for $10 signed and numbered in a very limited edition! After the show, the poster will be priced at $30. Come on out and check out the band I manage. They truly rock! I'll be there drinking and a' rockin'. Go to www.thefakesrock.com to download their songs and check them out. Hope to see you there!
