I will post the Paris version here and on my site later. The Paris one will be available from me as part of a smaller set that will include a Euro Tour Poster, Paris Poster, and 4 UK posters.
approx 23.5" X 34" 4 color (though 5 layers) screenprint on thick ass paper.
I had Steve flood the paper with this red as they didn't make the red paper I wanted anymore.
I used this version again for the Paris poster (with a few changes, most notably the reinsertion of the clouds) as I wanted the bottom text to be in French once like the original.
Big thanks to D&L for making this through a tight deadline and doing it so well.
i always bet double on dr. jones.......i wish u were a race horse instead of a stoopid poster artist. i would be rich and we could ride off together into the sunset
One of my favorite buildings on this poster as the windows were easy to knock out. I think it's only one of three buildings that have their name on it in this.
I was lucky enough to get all three of these at the shows. They look even more amazing in person. The best part about it: I live in one of the buildings on the poster.
...and I was just thinking how long it had to take to put each light on in each building...to sep this and all...not knowing about the exact buildings and time frame, etc...good work, Rob.
Insane. I saw this in progress. Each building has a story and a reason why it's placed where it is in a timeline. Rob probably has like 100 hours in this or something.
If Rob stayed true to form, this is probably big enough to take up a whole wall. It needs to be taking up one of MY walls. I'm looking forward to seeing the actual print. Damn.
