It was there dude. Hanging kinda low though...so I can see why ya may have missed it. It turned out to be kinda popular with the jam band poster collectors in the crowd. That along with the Widespread Panic. I suppose being in San Fran helped with that.

Thanks Basil and Jeff! I hope Rick would be smiling!!! When I got this job and found that the promoter wanted a kinda dead-head-ish vibe with this poster, I jumped at doing a Griffin inspired design. He's long been a favorite of mine.

Hey, Thanks Basil! This originally had a horizontal MGD logo on top that didn't obscure the red border. At the last minute Miller changed it to the one you see here. I don't think it ruined the poster or anything, but I was happier before. Since Poster art is a chance for me to do the kinds of design and illustration I don't get to do on a regular basis I've been playing with a lot of different styles and techniques. It's been fun.
