MaximumFluorideSend MaximumFluoride a message :   Crosshair is 100% correct. Punk flyers are exempt.   2009-03-04 18:30:44
whiteyhoustonSend whiteyhouston a message :   what Crosshair said 3 years ago is totally true now, then and long into the future   2008-12-31 13:37:18
Doug WilliamsSend Doug Williams a message :   Interesting. Didn't know it was 'repurposed' art when I posted. Pretty common practice at one time; my reaction is similar to crosshair. I'd be happier if it was original, hopefully this now spreads some word about the source, of which I was ignorant. This is the only extant flyer I know of for this band, so I posted it. From 1992-early '94 range. Someone probably has some others.   2008-12-31 12:33:00

john seaburySend john seabury a message :   It's not a big ripoff, but it still shouldn't be posted here.   2005-09-06 11:08:39
crosshairSend crosshair a message :   Ah yes... my old college band made flyers with lifted Velvet Glove art too, in 1991-92... We didn't give a fuck. We also ripped off P. Bagge and Charles Burns. We were into comix. We needed quick fliers for our little punk band; we weren't making art. It was entirely benign. We probably would have said we were spreading the word about something we were excited about; that we wanted to turn people onto.
Anyway I find I can't really summon up much righteous indignation about this.
