I love the technical side of this shit. I've got a pretty good idea whats going on here but I'd have to see the actual deal to know for sure.
The techniques that I think were used here aren't secrets. It's all about being meticulous.
I'm glad someone else shares that sentiment. I said that the other day about Horkey's High on Fire poster. I couldn't imaging buying, framing and displaying a poster on my wall based on it's artistic merit. (even if I thought it was SO GOOD!) ;)
nice poster. Dig the Jellyfish. Doesn't matter much to me if this was a screenprint or not but if it is, there are some amazing things going on-- split fountain from transparent to opaque (searchlights), complex gradients in water, blimp. Bravo.
