I made 4 or 5 stencils and used them to spray all the posters. I created a kind of spraying assembly line. I used 5 different spray paint colors to give the posters a real one of a kind feel, my favorite was a metallic silver color.
1. This poster kills. Can't believe it took me four months to stumble upon it.
2. How on earth did you get a stencil to hold up for 175 sprays? Even with heavy cover stock I would imagine the paper would start bleeding through after around 50-
I wanted to spray paint the info on my sign poster for Clutch. The paint would not take to the screenprint ink. I ended up sreening the painted part too.
It was printed by doing a split fountain screen print (orange to yellow background), then spray painted over top using a stencil. It was done for an edition of 175.
Needless to say, it was a lot work but also a lot of fun.
