Specifically- it is the wreckage of a Lancaster which crashed into the side of a mountain in Scotland at the end of WWII (Beinn Eighe, in Torridon; NW highlands). Bits and pieces of the thing are still scattered all over the place, though graverobbers have been looting parts of it ever since. If you look up onto the rock face above the slope, there is still an engine block embedded in the cliff wall high above.
