drowningcreekSend drowningcreek a message :   I did this poster after having this vision of Elvis in the Classic Christ pose. Judy and I collect cheesy Jesus junk and needed a good poster to hang next to our stash of christ statues...so we searched everywhere for a the perfect old painting to use wityh no luck (got some real starnge looks for the folks in the christian book stores!).
Then Judy types in "Elvis" and "christ" into the search engine and the found "The Church of Elvis Christ" website.
They had the perfect Christ pic to bastardize, but the Elvis head that had stuck on there sucked...so we used this perfect "all knowing" geaser, hearthrob Elvis head...alittle funky type, a monsterous band list and next thing you know...a poster.
We used silver metallic ink on this that is highly reflective on a super smooth ultra white paper...it's so cool. It's one of my new favorite posters I've done.
