if your sister drove that far just to hear Alanis perform the song "Ironic," but on the way there her car got a flat tire after running over a shard of glass, so she missed the show, and Alanis didn't play "Ironic," but the opening band was called "The Shards," and they covered "Ironic" - would that be irony? Or just stupid?
My sister told my parents she was going to LA from San Jose for an Alanis Morisette concert in high school. I call bullshit, because if she really drove 6 hours to see Alanis Morisette, that's fucking gross.
And when Alanis Morissette sang "Ironic" and none of the lyrical examples were actually ironic, that was what was ironic.
Also, the ghost of the man who dumped Alanis in the Rembrandt painting is now haunting the women's bathroom at First Avenue.
Peter Paul Rubens was really Francisco Goya and in the background of the night watch Rembrandt drew him as John Astin hanging himself from a tree. That's what that lameass Alanis Morisette song "you ought to know" is about.
We've already covered this. Paul from the Wonder Years is Marilyn Manson. Paul Reubens is the ghost behind the drapes in that one scene from "Three Men and a Baby."
John Astin is dead. Mackenzie Astin is dead and haunts the women's bathroom at First Avenue. Sean Astin died when he ate a bunch of Pop Rox and drank a can of Coke and his head exploded.
I think that rumor got started because it has that perfect combination of vice, oddness and plausibility.
But it's totally true that Spuds Mackenzie died at a party when someone threw a boombox into the pool he was swimming in.
paul from the wonder years is a lawyer now, ive seen his firms website. marylin mansons real name is like brian warner or something, they look nothing alike. i dunno how that rumour ever got started.
woah woah. i wrote a whole paper on the subject of marketting movies. hands DOWN, the award goes to 'mac and me'.
if youve seen it... wow
the aliens need to drink coke to stay alive, so they are constantly in search of it. theres a song and dance number in a mcdonalds featuring ronald mc donald. etc etc
