comparing this band to afi isn't all that educated. they don't sound at all like each other.
the mars volta has a heavy element of 70's rock with modern involved as well. this band doesn't fit in with the popular radio bands that will be gone tomorrow. if you appreciate music for sheer talent you'd respect this band...not necessarily like them.

Mccormick - I guess the elephants tusks do look a little like carrots from this far away...theyre actually just wrapped in bandages. And yes: some of the hands at the bottom are signing. There will be some weird versions of this thing available.
