(it didn't record my opt-shifts on the previous post, sorry. but apostrophes and quotemarks should look like commas not crappy straight lines. all (98%) of typefaces include the proper marks - find them and use'em. i'm not the worlds typo police - and i'm trying to be an ass - it's a peeve...

type often plays second fiddle. it's a shame...speaking of typography ' is a footmark ’ is an apostrophe " is an inchmark ” is a quotemark. and i'm not talking about in posts. just look around you one day - tv, boards, ads, posters, etc. notice how many million dollar spots down to print ads don't get it right...it's bad.

I agree that this is a great piece of art, I also agree that it probably doesn't make a very good poster. In my opinion, to be successful as a "poster" it would need to do a better job of getting the info to the reader. As far as Slaughters comments on the "cartoon crap" being steriotypical and all looking the same, I don't agree-I think there is just as much originality and variety in that area of posters as anything. Anyway...this IS a cool piece of art and the contrails are a really nice touch.

Great poster: i love the com-trails in the sky behind the trees. And this show features ALOHA. GREAT music: check them out. Theyre among a handful of really great bands that I will offer my services to for free if they ever tour around here.
