if they were like, an obscure bunch of black dudes from the 70's and you found their LP in a used bin somewhere, it'd be a great name.
unfortunately not the case.
"puddle of mudd" is pretty bad, too... really i get annoyed at any band name employing the "intentional mis-spelling" technique. i'm sure there's an exception somewhere, but i can't think of one...
"beatles" don't count. they're totally like, their own word or something.
