No... It was made for Denali's first tour years ago. I used to live with the bass player, Keeley, and he got them printed up. i don't even have a copy!
really beautiful colors, graphics, layout - denali centered up top while the polaroid is centered below...with the leaf and the trees keeping the layout from being too ridgid, sweet!
Yea, El Negro...Ive never heard them either, but it would seem that they'd have that Nick Drakeish thing going on. I look at it and I think of a song like 'Life like Weeds' by Modest Mouse...right around the end of the song where the violins come in...I must admit that it's a bit of my poster-creating philosophy: the poster you create for a band should be brimming with the musical atmosphere of the band. I sit and think so hard of new ways to convey atmosphere in this medium. I want posters to breathe and move. I want the characters in my posters to slowly change facial expressions...and make noises.'Haunted' posters: 'haunted' with atmospheres. You stare at this DENALI poster long enough and you can imagine little shadows of people sticking their heads out from behind the trees.
