A Martyr A.D. show in the Entry is like a crocodile and a badger locked in a steel box with some hand grenades and thrown off a cliff.... INTENSE and AWESOME!!!
Modern Life is War is pretty great too. The kids love'em.
starts in two hours.... :bang: .
Havoc?! please... I would have drawn a lot more circles and special effects if this were a mutant.
This man has obviously been charred to ash from the inside out, because a demon found an entrance into our dimension through his soul, and this is the moment before it steps through...
"Power of the moon," you make it sound so weak. It was cosmic radiation man. BAD ASS cosmic radiation
I like talking about superhero comic books like I care.
no. Havok was in XFactor. he's scott summer's brother alex. he can harness the power of the moon into plasma blasts. he dated that chick with the green hair...she had magnetic powers.
I don't even know what to say about your work anymore. Increasingly better and better. This is insanely powerful yet very simple. Always a pleasure. Great work.
Dave already knows I think his work kicks ass so rather than keep saying it over and over again I'm going to make this blanket statement and apply it to the rest of his works this year.
Here it is...
Dave, this kicks ass! :bang:
another thing I've been really working on is editing out excess details.
I've been known to get carried away with a drawing, lots of shading and little things that are a lot of fun to draw, but really don't do anything towards adding to the power of the poster. In fact those extra details are a distraction most of the time, and take away from the impact of a work.
I think my best posters are my simplest designs.
dave, you went to school right? how long?
you have such a talent. if i did something like this it would take me at least a week to compared to your one day and it would have the strenght behind it that everything you do does. BRAVO!
I had just found out about this show yesterday morning, got permission from First Ave in the afternoon, and drew this last night.
Martyr A.D. likes it, and I like Martyr A.D., so everything is groovy.
thanks everyone.
