This is David Singer. He's one of the original great Fillmore Poster artists. He came along in the wave right after Wes Wilson, Alton Kelley, Stanley Mouse, Victor Moscoso, and Rick Griffin. Around 1969-70. He was just over at my house and was explaining that Moscoso urged him to show his collages to Bill Graham. He kind of dropped in on Graham - with all his collages. Graham dug them and picked 12 for a dozen shows coming that summer. David Singer has a great eye for collage and typography. One of his Dead posters is one of the most expensive posters in the entire Bill Graham series.
