This is alright.
Just wish that there was more depth to it.
As it stands, its kind of flat looking.
Wrapping the text to the topography would have really made this somethin else.
Also, I dont think the tone quite fits the Cramps. They seem to deserve a more jovial skull.
Still, its pretty darn good.
this is from 2000. this is a bad grainy photo of this poster.
to see it in person, the colors jump out at you , and the text is a lot more legible. its actually got a very well thought out style and placement to all of the text, the different sizes and shapes, as opposed to many other posters on this site that try to fit lettering into an image.
"The text on this one doesn't read to well, It's cool as an image or artprint but as a PROMOTIONAL gigposter, I can't read what it's promoting quick enough.."
schizo, i just tried to open your (flash)site, but could see nothing at all!!
ok its a problem with my computer, but remember there are still lots of people with browsers which cant handle flash..
well yeah, everybody his own problems i guess
I like it, but I like this one better:

i - of all people (mr - text as image) am not impressed with this.
the only thing i like is the teeth. the rest is not that great.
it looks forced as all hell and the skull by itself doesnt look too tough.
yeah i remember commenting on this one a few months back. still kicks my ass nonetheless. got a lot goin for it in my book: its a skull, its red (one of my favorite colors) and the "text-making-the-image" thing is almost always a great approach. again, awesome!
