I watched a movie about world history that revealed Vikings had real horns coming out of their heads and the helmets were cut to accomodate them. The same movie also projected that in the future Israel will have a space armada.

I read somewhere recently that some Viking priests wore horns, wings, or other decorations, but the warriors didn't (since they most likely had leather helmets). Horns are cool. They should be on more things...

I actually have some friends here and in Iceland and Sweden who are Viking recreationists. Me perpetuating this erroneous stereotype in full knowlege of my error may cause them to shake their heads at me, but sometimes you just can't fight the tide of popular culture. There is no evidence that vikings ever wore helmets with horns on the sides. It is kind of like a racial sterotype. Like characatures of jewish people with big noses or drunken indians or something. At least it is a cool stereotype. Not that it matters in the context of this poster. Just saying. This poster totaly kills on every level. Every single level.
