BrainiacSend Brainiac a message :   Art had a creepy story about Arbus's death in the comments section here:   2004-11-23 12:55:27
ShinyBlueRobotSend ShinyBlueRobot a message :   Yeah! I want to pick that up. They play here on Tuesday night and I have to miss it since I have to work... that really sucks. But I will be picking that up for sure.   2004-11-21 01:23:03

ShinyBlueRobotSend ShinyBlueRobot a message :   Yes I think I recall that my cassette version (which is long gone now) had a different artwork than the CD. The cassette version also had a great cover of a song which I think was called "Poor Pitiful Me" which also wasn't on the CD due to legal reasons I am sure.   2004-11-19 03:29:55
StrangleholdSend Stranglehold a message :   Actually, This photo was used on the original version of SNFU's album. When threatened with legal action, they switiched it to an aritist's rendition of the photo. That still wasn't good enough for the Arbus estate, so they switeched it to the aformentioned evil Christmas scene. The best one is the artist's version of the photo. It makes the kid look even creepier.   2004-11-18 19:14:45
curranSend curran a message :   This is also the photo that Matt Groening based Bart Simpson on. She was a great photogrpher and this poster doesn't do her justice.   2004-11-18 01:23:25
dspringSend dspring a message :   Diane Arbus is the photographer... she committed suicide in the early 70's but she took some wild photos...   2004-11-18 01:13:55
ShinyBlueRobotSend ShinyBlueRobot a message :   no wait... I meant "...And No one Else Wanted to Play." Now that I look at it - it is the same except the SNFU cover has a stuffed elephant head on the boy's body while the boy's head is attached to a toy train. I think I'm ready for bed.   2004-11-18 01:04:44
ShinyBlueRobotSend ShinyBlueRobot a message :   heh heh Reminds me of the kid from the SNFU album cover "Better than a Stick in the Eye."   2004-11-18 00:57:18
