Just a little update three years later... still never received this poster. Got the refund, but the promise to make good and send the poster anyway (look at Ed's comment below) never happened. Sad, I wish I had it in my collection. It's really beautiful. Maybe I'll find one one day.
I really liked this... I bought it on another website about... 3 or 4 months ago, and it said the order went through, and we were charged, but I never got it... I'm not sure, I think we ended up cancelling and getting the money back. But... I'm just curious.
Hi Ed, I am sorry to say that I am also still waiting for my deathcab print, which I paid for over 3 months ago. You have stopped responding to my emails, so I've posted a message here as you have replied to Jenn on the 16th of July. Hope you do catch up with shipping soon, if not then the refunds.

Jenn-
I am very sorry, I got way backed up on shipping and have no excuse for my lack of communication. I have refunded your money via paypal and still intend on shipping you the print.
I appologize profusely.
and to anyone else expecting a poster from me, expect it at your doorsetp promptly, I got way behind in shipping and I am working on getting all caught up as we speak.
This company stole my money! Does anyone know how to get them to contact you? They never sent me this poster and they have ignored all my phone messages (they never answer the phone) and have ignored all of my emails (since April). I paid for this poster in March and they said they'd mail it in April and then they dropped off the planet...help?!? radioelf@email.com They took my $30 from paypal and ran away!
The colors, speckletone cream stock, the font and the negative space are all mid-80s. The look could work for an outdoor play from that time though it's better that this is for Death Cab.
The skulls turn into computer chips when flipped back over.
The font for sure, the line within the font and color scheme seem to say 1987... a little. Like something advertising some sort of shaving product or car, or an hourglass with skulls and hearts.
I have looked at this a few times now and find it really striking. Like something from a 1987 Advertising Annual (meant in the best possible way).
How do we see the first draft? It would be interesting to see how it's been changed ... no?
