The pose of the child on the right is hilarious. So dignified in his pulling up of his undies. Looks as though he's marching military-style as well. Contrast that with the Universal famoust monsters-like pose of the figure on the left, and it's clear to see that this is a commentary on children's place in society as falling squarely between 'culture' and 'barbarism' -- an ironic statement in these times considering that the military itself is trying to wipe out barbarism using means that are themselves quite barbaric. Okay, actually, I think this is just fantastic -- colouring, texturing, and also -- lettering! (a different look!). I really like the fact that this is the first of Leia's posters since the Q and Not U one, and it just absolutely kicks ass and is taken clearly from one of her own photos. Amazing!!
