Yeah. I made designed and printed the poster before e made his comments about 9/11. Now the poster has a different meaning in the context of the new shit so his management told the club to take 'em down.
The folks at red devil lounge are all real nice and they feel bad about it as well. Shit happens when yer a rock star.
It's not that big of a deal. I kinda like this poster. It's a shame that it's going to waste.
i don't know what his comments re: 911 are, but this poster can be taken several ways, and WAR or TERRORISM isn't what i saw in it.
i actually read this as dropping DA BOMB... were you asked to not use this, or is it a choice you made?
well, due to KRS ONE's recent comments regarding 9/11, these need to be pulled down and not sold at the show.
I guess I either have a pile of worthless paper or something collectible.
Bdix and the other hip hop fan out there, email re: trades.
thanks. I was pretty psyched to be hired to do another KRS-ONE poster. I had no idea how to do a hip hop poster but the last one went over like gang busters so, there ya go.
I'm so glad that I didn't go with graffiti style thing I originally was trying to do for the first poster. I just ain't street, yo.
