haha. our friend did this - we kind of ran out of time to do a nice poster, he did it as a joke, and we thought, 'meh, why not.' here's my commentary on it: Some factual innacuracies: 1 - It's 'The Adam Brown,' not 'Adams Brnows'...heck, we would have even accepted 'The Atom Brow' 2 - Contrary to popular belief, we will not be dying at this show 3 - 'Pop Montreal Presents,' not 'Pop Monteral Presents' 4 - It's 'Rant Music,' not 'Rat Music' 5 - We're playing AT Miami (3831, Blvd. St. Laurent) not IN Miami 6 - The half profile, half frontal rigid pose of the figure, a mainstay of Egyptian art, is realistically impossible to achieve without significant chiropractic problems resulting. Although, we all play really heavy guitars/basses, so maybe it's a subtle commentary on the pains we go through to deliver what the kids call 'the rock and/or roll music' Some design beauts that should not go unnoticed! 1 - The lone purple line on the 'Thursday' is a stroke of brilliance 2 - The clever integration of the $3.00 into the design itself - suggest that this is indeed a master at work 3 - BEAUTIFUL colour choices 4 - Highly skilled, cleary well-developped use of a 'naive' style of art
