because, unless it's done right, it just looks slapped on. this poster is great, but it would have been REALLY GREAT had the bands name been given the same line-quality as the cassette tape. this, of course, is my opinion.

i just knew you guys would bust my chops about the different lettering styles. glad you like the image, though. i use this logo for all Bones' promo shite. i'm starting to work in more hand rendered text these days, so this is sort of a transition piece.
