Raymond BiesingerSend Raymond Biesinger a message :   Naw, it's all the Hollywood folks from 1936 to 1945. Shirley Temple, Spencer Tracy, it goes on and on. Made versions for our Calgary and Canmore dates, too.

Raymond BiesingerSend Raymond Biesinger a message :   Heh! Good to know, KJ. And thanks, Stinky.
The whole shebang is a chart I pulled out of a book, "LIFE Goes to the Movies," but with the Vertical Struts subbing for Bing Crosby and the Fine Options subbing for Clark Gable. So, the joke's in the fine print.
And since I usually don't use material like this, I added a bibliography (that line of text on the right says: "Chart from 'LIFE goes to the movies,' p. 234, published 1975 by Time-Life books, New York"). Gotta nod to the forefathers, y'know.

KJSend KJ a message :   the fine options are named after a program for teens where, lets say you were a delinquent and forgot to get a job for a few years and forgot to pay a bunch of money you owed, you could like work a little while at this program and then everything would be cool.   2004-09-23 08:54:37
