you seem to also design posters for many of my friends' bands in t.o. and my friends' bars - rancho, cloak etc... good on yah - miles and lee are good folk.

I actually really like both Fly Pan Am and Japan's Mono and have all 4 Fly Pan Am records...
The image in retrospect is a bit literal - I didn't even consider it an image representing the band, I was just flipping through a book about the Wright brothers and it was on the brain.. unconscious association I guess.
Also - the lettering was done by hand in Illustrator - if it aint your style, that's cool.
Again - like I said in my first response - this is based on their tour poster, which is somewhat similar (I wish the designer would post it) but if you don't dig it - that's cool.
Some people around town seem to like it - I'm pretty happy with it too.
The "Fly" connection is pretty cheesy, and not fitting with the music. Also, the text looks like it was done with mspaint.
My main gripe is definitely that it doesn't suit the bands in any way at all. It's like you didn't even bother to listen to them before making the poster.
