Awesome. Vincent's Ear!
The first time i got way too drunk at a rawk & roll show was there. Passed out upstairs and they had to throw me out when they closed. Ah, memories...
Gotta get one og these.
science lesson for today:
This is a tiny primate called a Tarsier.
Tarsiers have the largest eyes (relative to their body size) of any other animal on earth. They cannot move their eyes side to side, but they can swivel their necks 180 degrees to see behind them.
they are nocturnal and are now on the endangered species list...
Very nice. I like this little mammal. I forget what it's called but I used one in an illustration class once. Funny looking creatures make great posters.
So I go away for a couple of days, out in the woods, and what do I come back to find, but this beaut! The colour on this sucker is seriously gorgeous. I really love the black border that fades into the background as well. The black paper is such a classy choice. Another standout to me is the lizard illustration. The outline of that thing, with the enlarged leg on the left, and his body - which looks as though seconds earlier it was struggling, but now is stiff - is crazy good. And, as always, the textures just own me.
That fella' looks so proud. I say goodamn I want one!
these look so great. there's a nice black or clear texture in the background (these are on black paper) that is just icing on the cake. thanks again for doing these for us, leia.
