hi, i just saw finch's last post .... does anyone know what context the mercury cover was used in? (and yes, they had my permission to use the art as their cover last year). maybe i'll track down a copy of how. never seen it before.
I just saw this illustration used as a cover to the Portland Mercury (dated April 20-26). It was on page 139 of the October 2007 issue of HOW Magazine. I hope Casey got paid for the job because I didn't notice any kind of illustration credit with the image...
Funny I too am waiting to receive this in the mail...hopefully by next week....can't wait.
I already have Caseys other Sonic Youth poster too...both have awsome imagery...
Finally got one of these. It roolz huge. Anyone else see a face in the folds of the material on her shoulder facing the Sonic Youth text? or is it just me. :o
to answer all the emails i'm getting, yes, i will have extras to sell of this poster, but only AFTER the show happens. please email me then if you are still interested.
thanks for all the huge compliments, everyone.

see, not too exciting.
i can't wait for this show. cat's cradle is fairly small for sonic youth to play (650 capacity), but they have played there quite a few times, and seem to love playing there. they always put on an incredible show.
fuck you, you beautiful bastard! i've been working on this same concept for months but haven't been able to pull it off. colors, layout...fuck, everything is beautiful. i quit. the only thing that i was tinking different tho was to have the headliner in the mirror ( reversed ) in blood or lipstick ( your pick ).
