TenebriniSend Tenebrini a message :   I'm the same way. 2 seems like cheating the poster itself out of something. I have a hard time with it.
This is a great piece by the way.

DWITTSend DWITT a message :   I just did a three color art print, and I had a hard time doing it.
My brain works better with two colors.
and no ray patterns.

wezzburlesqueSend wezzburlesque a message :   i wish i did 2 colors more often. i would like to be done sooner most of the time. a lot of the times, i start out going "i'm going to make a two color poster" and after a little while, I'm like "you know what would make this two color poster look awesome? a third color! That and some sort of ray pattern."   2004-07-10 12:40:37

DWITTSend DWITT a message :   yeah, Wes religiously does three colors, and he know how to make them looks like 6 or more...
he's a beastly bright chap.

ShadSend Shad a message :   The idea that this is a three color print blows my mind. I need to find this in person.   2004-07-10 12:22:53
bdixSend bdix a message :   Oh, you're using the lighter blue for the shading. Sweet.   2004-07-09 14:41:10
wezzburlesqueSend wezzburlesque a message :   it's yellow, then transparent dark aqua blue, then transparent light colonial blue. the light blue shades the yellow on the arrows. I'll show you seps if you want.   2004-07-09 14:30:56
slaterSend slater a message :   this is riduckulously cool. that's right I said re-duck-u-lus-lee :D   2004-07-09 11:25:10
bdixSend bdix a message :   So, is that dark blue that you're using to shade the yellow (as in 2 blue screens and 1 yellow), or is it yellow, blue, and black?   2004-07-09 10:41:30
wezzburlesqueSend wezzburlesque a message :   yeah, but not too bad. i actually like that on the ultra fine halftone. the dots show up on the screen but then bleed together on the surface of the paper. it looks more like water color, especially on stuff like the smoke.   2004-07-09 10:35:25
bdixSend bdix a message :   Great stuff. I'd love to see the halftone work on this sucker. Did it gain much?   2004-07-09 10:16:13
wezzburlesqueSend wezzburlesque a message :   three color print, 19" X 25".   2004-07-09 10:13:22
amy joSend amy jo a message :   clicking to page 12 of the new releases to find this was totally worth it.   2004-07-07 09:45:29
