The dense ass black is a top secret trade tick that will go to the grave with me. One of the few things that I won't let out of the shop. :D :D :D |

Went to see this thing on Sunday. I got a lot of cool info on the production of the Warriors (for example, the original plot was to have Swan, the Warriors war chief, kidnapped and nearly raped by a gay gang called the Dingos. This was dropped so that they could pair him off with Mercy, the Orphans chick, instead of Fox, the dude who gets hit by the subway).
Andy's printing on this was great. I've never had a printer achieve such a dense black on a poster. Usually I have a color printed behind the black to make sure it's black fucking black in the final product, but Andy said he could do it without that precaution. He was right.
He also filled the side with handbill versions as a surprise, which I didn't have time to design originals for. Thanks again for being a pro, fool. |

Nothing against YOUR drummer, just ALL drummers.

My drummer gave me some advice when it comes to tending bar on Halloween night:
"Always watch the guys dressed up like the Baseball Furies or Drooies from Clockwork Orange. They'll be the ones causing trouble at the end of the night." |

As much as I would want to be a Fury, I'd probably end up with the High Hats.
If you've had a chance to read the book, the Warriors are depicted in a lot more pathetic light and resemble the Orphans more than thier screen counterparts. Like the Orphans in the movie, the Warriors in the book keep "press clippings" and show them off to disinterested parties to validate their rep. |
