yeah, i know you weren't knocking the design...i meant more that mark pretty much gets carte blanche to do what he wants. even if someone did hate the photo, they likely would have given him a pass on it.

i'm not knocking the design jc......... it just seems like a REALLY surprising choice of approved imagery considering all the history behind the photo and, at this level of concert, how everything get's scrutinized by management to the Nth degree.

random " how the f*ck did this get approved " ..... if i'm not mistaken, the photo is from a failed SNL west-coast prime time special from the late 70s. they were supposed to have some skit put together with akroyd and belushi as " surf-police " cops but....... on the day of filming wilson is COMPLETELY out of it...... and they kept going !!!!!! they f*cking drag him down to the beach in his bathrobe, slap a long board under his arm and watch as he lathargically and pathetically splashes around the pacific ocean... STILL IN THE F*CKING BATHROBE !!!!!!!....... brian never surfed to begin with! dennis wilson was the only surfer in the beach boys.
