long live cooper black.
link to great movie on this legendary typeface: http://cheshiredave.com/mastication/2002/07/0037a-btt.html
oh, nice poster, too.
Very beautiful. And it's surprising how naturally right the name "Wilco" looks in Cooper Black.
I never thought of a smokestack as a bird-launching tube. Now I know.
 fucking wilco!
I like uncle tupelo better'n wilco. but this rules.
 Fucking BIRDS
i totally saw this one in the making... I really love how people think the birds are being killed and smoked to heaven, thats funny.
i dig the cardboard cutout factory the most ;)
Clean, cleaner, the cleanest!!! This poster is really nice.
Yeah. He's East Bay based. Jason Munn, Justin Walsh and myself did a show in Oakland back in January (I think) and i hope we can all do a show together again soon.
his work is great! munn lives in the bay area?
the man makes me drool buckets.
Munn rules. Ya'll drool.
Holy white space. Great poster.
a trip to the bahamas...
or this poster.
What do I win?
michael, yeah you're right. its a wing factory.
jason...whatever you do...dont stop making these great posters...awesome!
those birdies goin to birdy heaven.
Wait. Isn't this a happy poster?
I mean, I thought those birdies were goin' in wingless and flying out of the smokestack with their new wings.
Scary and good.
I used to work there... It sucked. All those lil birdies. The guilt never goes away.
this is great. i have a soft spot in my heart for the font. how big is the small text??
this is so beautiful!
HA! very nice munn.
This is SO good!
Cute, in a sort of twisted way!
right about Auschwitz... you should visit a meat factory!
I like this, I especially like the part where the blue and pink birds go into that factory with "wilco" on the side then come out of the chimney.
On the other hand, it might be a little too Auschwitz
