I'll look it up. My smattering of Berkowitz knowledge comes from that Time Life book on killers that got remaindered everywhere. I remember he drove a Ford Galaxie. Never really got much into him. Koresh isn't a popular subject, I'd imagine, because unlike Son of Sam or Manson he didn't inspire any fear with his particular bag of idiosyncricies. If anything his story brought about pity (and anger towards those that smote him). Great for a militia poster, not so great for rock stuff (but it works here).

i'm facinated with serial killers. i never heard of the downstairs neighbor, but nothing would surprise me. he has some pretty funny quotes from prison. he always delived every interview with a big smile on his face. you gotta love that!

His neighbor was named Sam Carr, but David referred to himself as "Son of Sam" or "Sam's Creation". Apparently he fucking hated Sam's dog, Harvey, and even shot it, though it survived. The orders to kill came from everywhere, not just the barking of the dog. For example, David claimed to get psychic messages from his downstairs neighbor commanding him to kill, a Mr. Glassman.
