rockologistSend rockologist a message :   smoove-the type IS distressed. it's hard to see at this size. DOLL tore it up last night. those guys are GOOD.   2004-04-25 09:01:53
Smoove BSend Smoove B a message :   ooooo. woweee nice.
I do agree though that a distressed type would look cool. But then, what do I know?

bdixSend bdix a message :   I figured you would've tried that.   2004-04-23 11:55:54
rockologistSend rockologist a message :   didn't trap it very much. it worked out for the most part, some are a litle off in areas, but it doesn't really affect the prints much. it looks cool. i tried that with the text TOO, bobby- it still 'felt' off..   2004-04-23 11:49:05
bdixSend bdix a message :   Jamie, did you get the trapping figured out on this?
Personally I think the text is on point with the imagery and feel. I'd only consider left-justifying the text.

Platinum RichSend Platinum Rich a message :   recently i did a poster that was an abstract sort of thing and couldn't make the type work. i scrapped it and did something else. good job on this and mad props for working it out.   2004-04-23 11:39:29
rockologistSend rockologist a message :   i spent like 3 days trying different things with type on this. nothing i was doing was mnaking me happy, it was all competing too much with that image. so, i finally settled on something simpler. you can't see it as well here, but the text is like a 5th generation xeox, blown up an shrunk. it's kinda blown out, more so in some areas, and there's a patch of toner ink resideu in the corner. i like this because it reminds me of a bad cheap, 70s pseudo science paperback. it's supposed to look like an exploding sun. 12"x19", 2 colors on white 80 lb cover, i do believe. thank you for your time. screenprinted by geoff peveto.   2004-04-23 11:32:46
Thee AlexSend Thee Alex a message :   Wish the text was as good as the image   2004-04-23 10:46:32
bdixSend bdix a message :   The lower lefthand smudge sets this off. Great stuff.   2004-04-23 08:47:45
dennyschmickleSend dennyschmickle a message :   Love the texture/imagery etc. A little more tenderlovingcare for the type would have put this over the TOP.
Still very nice.
