This is one of my all-time favorite posters. I bought it here in Portland from a guy who was dropping one off at the old 2nd Ave Records (the old shotgun space before they got the corner shop) sometime in the Fall of '96. The rooster, Jon Spencer text and most of the accents are in a twinkly bronze ink.
Mike King gave me the following info about this poster: "its part of a series of posters (jsbx, deadmoon, korn & portland hemp fest) designed by rick panchera, who used to work at Willamette Week. i am not sure about who brad engle is, my guess is that he did the type. kevin hutton was gary houston's assistant, these posters where printed at gary’s."
It was a helluva show, too.
