yea, read below. it was 'the left handed angels' who first identified the mistake in this very thread. the poster image that was originally posted here contained the mistake you speak of.
My first Jermaine Rogers print and what got me interested in his work I have this one that spells Belway it was a spelling mistake and should have read Bewlay as in Bewlay Brothers a track from the 1971 album Hunky Dory
Yeah, that e-mail made you look too, huh? I just caught it... it's pretty subtle. It has to do with correctness more than anything else. But I'd bet Jermaine really doesn't want anyone pointing it out. That would take all the fun out of looking.
did tommy hilfigger approve/send $ for this?
i don;t like the colors too much.
too adobe illustrator too. no offense, but i don;t feel any energy from it.
I share my birthday with Mao, Steve Allen, Allan King and Lars Ulrich
Jermaine: Stop making posters . . . at least until I can afford a subscription. It's no fair.
definitely "Bewlay".. anyhoo, great poster.
in NY, once saw a fantastic documentary on Bowie called "Cracked Actor" about his '74 Diamond Dogs. Bowie has weird as hell back then. Practically a different artist... as he got older he became more "normal."
I'll check the link out, but my copy of "Hunky Dory" has Bewlay, and is listed as such on allmusic.com and The Replicants' cover of the song. (great cover btw)
Kind of a fannish thing to point out, I guess. Still, just one error that doesn't take away from how good this poster is.
Nice.
Lefthandedngel, Ive seen it spelled both ways. Even rockonthenet.com spells it belway. I think the new Bowie collection from a couple years ago spells it this way too.

Not to be one of those guys who cites mistakes, but it's "Bewlay Brothers". Still, cool poster. The Polyphonic Spree opening for Bowie - nice! That'd be a great show.
The Belway brothers & Diamond Dogs are the twins, I assume it's the thin white duke next to Andy, and I don't know the lyrics very well but the sandwich board guy is referencing the song Five Years.
all the weirdos standing around in the background are far more interesting than the central figure.
bowie reminds me of an old lizard as he gets old and predictable. he should have a forked toungue.
