ShawnySend Shawny a message :   to me, it would have been a total asshole move if he had just smashed the case...but he picked up the guitar and tried to plug it in to play it. that's just brilliant.

whiteyhoustonSend whiteyhouston a message :   I heard a story that Icarus line were playing somewhere in texas at a bar and the one dude ripped down a framed Stevie Ray Vaughn guitar that was enshrined on the wall... smashed 'er out of the glass and was pounced on jihad style by 100 screaming Texans...
the motto is: I drink too much and tell shitty stories

ZELIGSend ZELIG a message :   I will never for the fucking life of me understand people's fascination with the Addam's Family Pin. It is mediocre at best, yet was the highest grossing pinball until Medieval Madness came along. However, Twilight Zone is a great game, lots of stuff to do. The power ball, the magnetic mini playfield, the skill shot, fuck everything on it. I'd put TZ in my top 5, AF doesn't even rate.
If you want to be really freaked out, find a Shadow pinball. Another top 5 easy, but most people don't even play it as the huge Alec Baldwin translite acts as a geek repellant.
Oh, and Dolly is an excellent songwriter. I read the number of songs she has copyrighted, and whatever the number was I remember thinking she could give Prince a run for his money.

Michael M. MotorcycleSend Michael M. Motorcycle a message :   Her pinball game does suck. Nothing at all to do on it. Not only is she an amazing performer but her songwriting is some of the best. Her early stuff is especially great. Rene, no shit man. I got hooked on that game when I used to work at a night club. They had it there and all of the employees would sit around that thing for hours. Then they took it out and replaced it with fucking Twilight Zone. Not a terrible game but nothing compared to the Adams Family.   2004-04-04 16:15:03
piemelSend piemel a message :   the one pinball machine I would LOVE to have is 'the adams family'
  2004-04-04 16:05:49
ZELIGSend ZELIG a message :   I agree about Dolly being a cool customer. One of the few performers that genuinely makes me smile everytime I see her on the tube. I wish her pinball machine had better playfield art, although I still might get it one day for teh backglass alone (perhaps the most stunning of all celebrity backglasses and that includes KISS).   2004-04-04 16:03:18
Michael M. MotorcycleSend Michael M. Motorcycle a message :   Hell Yes. Dolly Parton is one of the most amazing women that has ever lived and the Distillers only barely warrant this image gracing one of their posters. Nice work you guys.   2004-04-04 15:45:47
richeditorSend richeditor a message :   the buddyhead band is spelled: the icArus line, with an A. could be some other local band, though.   2004-04-03 16:46:32
