Had a copy of the original that had been reproduced in Guitar Player. (think it was Guitar Player?) I was alawys one of my favourites, but I like this. To riff on what someone else said, it is fitting that a spoof poster be made for a spoof band.

I'm not sure about the Kozik shadow stuff...or any other deep n meaningfull reasons behind this poster...I am mostly wrong about "STUFF" and prolly am now but i think this is great 'cause me and hundreds even thousands, of poster freaks, would never ever thought of doing this to a poster that has made so many people get the 'ol wallet out, or wish they could...Shock factor of Mr. Rogers doing this poster nil. Amusement factor, FULL POINTS...

Jermaine dont care though what I or anyone for that matter thinks of his art... he is doing quite well thankyouverymuch. And like I said there are a ton of people who will love this and as I said it will sell out in hours if not minutes.
Let me rephrase it with 'been done before'... what I dont 'get' is why someone who doesnt care about money but only cares about his art, and who wants to step out of Kzoik shadow decides to use a Kozik Pearl Jam poster...

Seriously...this works very well conceptually BECAUSE of the band it's for. The Darkness has been called (among other things) a goofy rehash of 70's bands like Queen, etc.
I'm thinking much more thought went into this than just to spoof a famous Kozik print. For this band, this is fucking perfect. Brilliant even.

Funny you mention that, because Inga would never allow herself to be photographed with her sister. As a matter of fact, none of the family would and went to great lengths to never allow any photographic documentation as to the younger girls existence. It was quite sad.
