This is probly my favourite of yours, Dave. The halftones and grey (and great fat, linework) really make it pop. I wanna see more colour stuff! (if grey counts as a colour). Dig.
You just never know. Enginehouse Mike and I were talking about that. Tara killed it again, I did damn good but tara killed it on the digitals. I sold many silkscreens and sold 2 White Stripes for $150 but not as many digitals as usual, the Detroit Cobras Chicken pot pie flew off the table. I came home with only 3 snowglobes and had like an amazing reponse from them but Tara didn't sell one. You never know. I have like 5-7 wholesalers picking them up in big quantities. They'll do great on the internet as well. It's so weird, you never know what the people will buy. The handbills sold great as usual. All in all, picking up the new accounts and getting cool offers from big bands plus making your presence is what ultimately counts. It's worth it completely. Our trip is paid for. Oh, our dog at his bed while we were gone: -$45 :(
Tales like this are what really scare me about Flatstock - if DWITT has that many problems selling posters, I don't see that I'd have even the slightest of chances.
He was the only guy I talked to where the conversation went beyond, "How much for that one?".
I think my presentation is unprofessional or something. I watched people walk by a lot all weekend.
yeah, i'm still not sure if those arms are cute or creepy. although i tend to have an affinity for things both cute and creepy so i like it either way. this poster looks hot in person.
