he moved (or is moving, but i think moved) to north carolina with his wife and kids. the reigning sound were supposedly breaking up awhile back, because a long-distance band was too hard to manage. but as of right now, they've got a new record coming out on in the red (RAWKUS!) and an ep coming out later (a lot of ballds), and are touring, at least for the moment.

its nuts, greg (oblivion/cartwright) has closed his record shop, moved out of memphis and now his new stuff is being blasted on local memphis volunteer radio. weird how things work around here. |
