Steve HSend Steve H a message :   well the original pic (it was on an album cover) was about 1 inch square, i did a search and thought it'd be a good photo to use..but it was tiny so i printed it out in b/w and then scanned the print up to 300dpi..then i reversed the colours on that, printed it out again in negative and then smoothed all the lines and the tones over in pencil, then scanned it, flipped the colours, and then using the original inch square colour photo (which was basically large pixels) as a palette i used the spray can to colour in the larger pre prepared b/w version! so yea, in short its a digitally coloured in b/w photo..but i dont think i cheated! cheers...   2004-02-19 11:45:31
dspringSend dspring a message :   I dig Scotty Moore and I dig this poster. What materials did you use Steve? I like the how you did the headstock, just hinting at the hardware/melding in with the background   2004-02-19 07:21:57
