JGexSend JGex a message :   Panic DOES get a lot of posters done without the venue or band knowing about it. I don't know if this one is one of them or not, so apologies in advance if this really isn't the place to post this. I just read the comments and thought I'd chime in.
Anyone selling posters in the parking lot with no commission, but using the band's name as a selling point for their art, is not doing anything to help the band at all. They aren't putting any money in the band's pocket, or helping to promote a show. It is a purely selfish act on the part of the artist, who is just furthering their own monetary or ego-driven goals, and they are directly competing with the band's merch booth.
There are a LOT of no commission posters, and a lot of images that were used as submissions but were not approved for use on this site.
Should they be archived here?

perkinsSend perkins a message :   I'm not saying this is one of them, but Panic gets a shitload of unofficial posters done, and also more than one "official" poster for a show sometimes.
Drowning Creek and I both did an official one recently for the same show- theirs thru the band, mine thru the venue/promoter.
