that thought crossed my mind as well. this remains one of my all-time favourite seripops. in a way, i wish it was HARDER to read the text, because, then if i bought it, i wouldn't have to justify having a yeah yeah yeahs poster. zing.
This reminds me of two things.
1) I saw some show on cable where this girl in India had hair down to her feet. She'd been growing it since she was a child. Well, she had some weird obssession with chewing on her hair. Well, one day she had a major stomach ache and they operated. They pulled out like a ten pound ball of hair. Solid as a rock! GROSS!
2). I saw some photo of this weird glass head and some artist had a plant grow in it and just kept growing and growing and it was like stuffed to every nook and cranny. Then the artist broke the galls and had this super hard THING of like a million roots the shape of a human head/face. Nice work girl! This is amzing stuff! I dig the little boots! CA-REE-PEE!
Wow. Look at that hair. This is among the best incorporation of text into design I've seen...not just concept-wise either. I'm talking skill-wise, in terms of how well it blends with the hair, but at the same time is completely readable. Absolutely masterfully done! Also, are those two legs at the bottom?
